SWP Hermes Backup is a private, single-user backup utility operated solely for its owner's use.
Google user data accessed
The utility requests Google Drive access to create dedicated backup folders; upload encrypted backup archives and checksum files; read file names, identifiers, sizes, parent folders, and storage information for upload verification and retention; and remove only backup files created by the utility when retention is enabled by the operator.
How data is used
Google Drive data is used only to provide encrypted backup storage, upload verification, capacity calculation, and operator-approved retention. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or training artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Storage and sharing
Backup contents are encrypted on the operator's server before upload. OAuth credentials are stored only in the operator's private Hermes environment. Google user data and credentials are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Retention and deletion
Encrypted backup files remain in the operator's Google Drive according to the retention policy selected by the operator. The operator can revoke access through Google Account security settings and can delete backup files directly from Google Drive.
Limited Use
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
